Since starting PT three months ago, I have progressed leaps and bounds due to the absolute wizard of the coaching world, Mike Ellis. Every session is planned down to a T to help me develop, even with injuries to my ankles after spraining both within the same month! I can feel myself growing and glowing mentally and physically both inside and outside of the gym due to this and I look forward to more sessions to come.

I have worked with Mike since the start of March and the service has been nothing short of excellent with weekly check-ins which helps to track my progress. Mike shares his wealth of knowledge which has helped to maximise my performance.


With the help of Mike, I have been the strongest and fitness I have ever been, through his expert knowledge he has designed a program which has helped me to play sports at a high national level. He does not have one fit all approach and has designed a program to cover my needs before and during the season and now in my offseason.

Been training with Mike for the past 15 months and at first he was just my trainer. But fast forward and now he’s more my friend who I train with. He’s a top guy who actually listens to what I say and moan about. And then advises on how to move forward. Nothings too much for him. He understands me and my life and always accommodates for that.
Without Mike I wouldn’t be anywhere near my life goals. We sat down in May this year and discussed different training, he listened. We chatted. He advised and set a plan and now 6 months later, I’m just over 4 stone lighter. And when training becomes “easy work” he always manages to switch it up and keep me on my toes.

I've been having sessions with Mike for a while now, when I first entered the gym I had very little confidence and it felt so daunting just walking in. I expressed these feelings and after just a few sessions all the anxieties I had around going to the gym started to fade away thanks to his help. Flash forward a few months I now feel stronger, healthier and more motivated than I ever have in the past. His knowledge is amazing and he is a great teacher. I look forward to our sessions each week and I can't wait to see where this journey will lead. Despite his terrible dad jokes I would highly reccomend him to any one who wants to improve their health and fitness.

When I first contacted Mike, I had never had a PT session and was super nervous. He immediately put me at ease, we discussed my goals, put a plan in place & got to work…

At the beginning of the year, I was squatting 30kg, deadlifting 50kg and didn’t feel confident in my ability to progress.

Fast forward to now, I walk into each session feeling focused and strong. I recently hit a 115kg deadlift PB & 110kg squat & I couldn’t be happier!

I can’t recommend Mike enough & owe him a huge thank you for the role he has played in my fitness journey. He is an excellent PT & a great friend!
