Who is Parabellum Coaching?
Mike Ellis
I am the one man band behind Parabellum Coaching.
I have been a qualified Personal Trainer and Strength Coach for 5 years now.
My goal is to help people build strength, push their performance, and support individuals with their personal and fitness development.
I also work with Macclesfield FC's International Academy as Strength & Conditioning Lead.
My goal to help you become comfortable and confident to achieve your goals independently, but continually progress sustainably!

Does it matter what sport I compete in?Not at all. We would use Strength and Conditioning principles and adapt them to your game. I have experience with team sports like Football and Rugby but have also worked with athletes from BMX, Combat Sports and much more!

How do I know what to work on?We would discuss based on your sport and position what you may need to improve your game then factor the program and time of year into that to make session plans and long term needs analysis plans.

Do personal training sessions need to be scheduled weekly?No, personal training sessions can be scheduled according to your needs and finances. Some clients prefer bi-weekly sessions, and we can adjust the frequency to suit your requirements.

How do I get started with personal training as a new client?To get started, please fill out the application form on our website. I will review your information and contact you to ensure that we are a good fit for your personal training needs.

What do I need to get started?Nothing at all. Once the application form is completed alongside the PAR-Q/Medical Form we would organise start dates etc.

Do I need a membership for the gym for Personal Training?No. Access to the facilities is included within the PT cost. Any additional sessions you may do yourself would need a day pass or membership.

What are the available options for purchasing personal training sessions?You can purchase personal training sessions as a single session, a block of 4 sessions, or a block of 10 sessions.

Do I need to be in Staffordshire or Cheshire to receive coaching?Absolutely not. Our online coaching services are available to clients anywhere in the world.

How is the online coaching done?Online Programming and Nutrition is covered by an app which only you and I have access to so any information shared is private. This is complete with video walkthroughs, exercise videos and a communication system within the app itself.
